Lighting- Simply Devine

The article focuses on the importance and simplicity of light. Lighting, at different times of the day, is able to illuminate different parts of the basilica. For exmaple, "The effect of light on the perception of space is also used to direct the attention of the congregation toward the altar in the chancel, in accordance with the church's liturgical principles, and give a sense of proximity to the proceedings." Gaudi's ties with nature make this basilica amazing; his use of sunlight alone produces spiritual vibe that is impossible to paint alone.
