ABOUT THE ARchitect:
1. Antoni Gaudi is the son of a coppersmith. He began learning about crafts in his father's workshop.
2. Gaudi is buried in La Sagrada Familia! He is buried in the chapel of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in the crypt of his greatest architectural creation, La Sagrada Familia.
3. Gaudi is known for being a "Man of Faith" that bases his architecture off of nature, while using his educational bachground of design, drawing, and mathematical calculation.

La Sagrada Familia has reached it's final stage of construction 132 years later. The new architect is Jordi Fauli. The massive building is scheduled to be completed in 2026, which is the 100th anniversary of the Gaudi's death.
