The Interior of La Sagrada Familia

Gaudi's Color: The image below shows the interior as if you were walking into the basilica from the front. Gaudi believed in placing color into worship, however he was careful in prevetning color from "out-doing" the structural deisgn, such as the carvings in the columns, of the interior.

La Sagrada Familia has reached it's final stage of construction 132 years later. The new architect is Jordi Fauli. The massive building is scheduled to be completed in 2026, which is the 100th anniversary of the Gaudi's death.
